0:19 - this is definitely already on arrakis because i recognize the fish on the headboard, probably a scene or two before the reverend mother comes, and a few scenes after dr. yueh tries to drug paul
0:29 - you hate to see it but i am so fuxxking sold on timothee chalamet as paul atriedes like he is seriously going to eat this up. even the 'yes' is perfect

0:49 - nice shot of caladan...i like the way the abundance of water on caladan is established before the scarcity of it on arrakis in the book
0:54 - i loooove the way they decided to represent the shield tech. 10,000 leagues ahead of david lynch version and the holographic look of it has a nice sense of how far tech has advanced in-universe....its a bit sci fi campy but it doesnt throw me out of the story and its fun
0:58 - man denis villenueve did not skimp on the details....first paul's headboard, now the stone depicting leto's father fighting the salusan bull
1:13 - the pink floyd eclipse cover + hans zimmer soundtrack here is so epic....also a tribute to the failed dune project in the 70's that never got off the ground that pink floyd was supposed to do some of the score for

1:25 - the burning palm trees....are everything to me
